Waste and recycling bin audits / assessments

KESAB’s experienced waste auditors and educators can visit your site/business to assess your bin systems and identify opportunities to improve the collection of materials for recycling or composting. A physical audit of bin materials generated by your business will set benchmarks to achieve cleaner collections and reduce waste to landfill.

Do you need assistance to make your event Zero waste? KESAB educators can come in at the beginning with tools and suggestions to achieve better separation for cleaner collections or even an event that generates little or no waste to landfill.

Experience shows that this requires the cooperation and commitment of event organisers, all vendors and the people attending the event. It can be as simple as having consistent bin colours with clear signage to show the items that belong in each bin and ensuring all food is served with compostable cutlery and plates. KESAB environmental solutions manages the KESAB and Statewide Education Centres. The education centre provides an environment for students to extend their learning with a series of activities linked to the Wingfield Waste and Recycling Centre sites and household bin collections.

The Education Centre demonstrates the use of recycled organics, water harvesting, and reuse of construction and demolition materials.
